You know what I find funny? The fact that the fashion industry is so small and niche, yet fashion is so universal. Everyone wears clothes, but most people have no idea what goes into creating a piece of clothing and getting it to their door.
Fashion’s reach and impact is huge, but its inner workings are marginalized.
So much so that a lot of slow fashion brands feel the need to educate their customers and the general public about what goes into apparel design and production.
Have you experienced this disconnect with the size and understanding of fashion in your business? Do you do anything to lessen this gap?
